The Art of Personal Work + 15% off

My course for The Lamp Post Guild, The Art of Personal Work is launching next week!

This 10 week program covers my working method for planning and producing a new collection of work every year. It's a process that's become invaluable to me and I hope it will be useful for you as well!

You can check what those 10 weeks would look like and the trailer introducing the course here.

Also, you can use the code "
PersonalProject2013" to get 15% off.

The class starts on Tuesday of next week, July 16th. I hope to see you there!

Will registration still be open on the 15th? I really want to sign up but won't have the money until then.

Hi Cory- looks like a really great class- I noticed that its for the summer- do you think you'll be putting on another one in the fall?

Congrats on putting something together that looks awesome!

There are three options for taking my course, The Art of Personal Work:

1) Join the inaugural class and work on a schedule with periodic input from me. Ideally, folks will join by the 16th but if you would want to join a week or two later and catch up that's fine.

2) Wait to join the self-paced version (launching soon) to take whenever they'd like (but without input from me or due dates/start dates).

3) Wait to join another class with input from me (which we may or may not due in the future. The project managers thought it would be nice if I stepped in a couple times to review the work that's being done for this first class. I believe that part of it is a one time thing, unless we all decide that I'll review work at another date, might be fun).

Cory, can your personal project be- for example- a picture book that I have written but haven't illustrated yet, but I want to get it ready- sketches and some finished illustrations- to send out to publishers? Or does it need to be a project that can be publishable online immediately?
